Website Design Spotlight: Dayspring Inc.

Dayspring, Inc. is an amazing organization run by our prestigious client Dr. Linda Gorham. Linda and HM&D have worked together on 2 websites now and currently a third, why so many? That’s because Dr. Gorham is so involved in the Baltimore community, specifically in education and children. We originally worked together on her non-profit Paraklete, and now we’ve launched her new Dayspring site that will be bring high quality educational resources to children in Baltimore City.

The mission of Dayspring, Inc. is to support and promote children’s total development (i.e., their optimal spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, and physical functioning) and to assist them in being and becoming productive, giving members of society.

Dayspring, Inc. was founded in 1982 and has operated year-round early childhood education programs, conducted summer programs for school-aged children, helped to pioneer the use of developmentally appropriate computer-assisted learning for young children, sponsored educational outreach services at community events, employed community residents, supervised teacher education students, and watched with pride as our former students excelled in public, private, and parochial schools. Consequently, we know our community, its people, and its issues well.

Dayspring’s vision is that all children will have access to high quality educational settings that are intellectually rich, experientially relevant, and staffed by knowledgeable, competent, and caring individuals. Dayspring INC. is not affiliated with Dayspring Programs of Baltimore Dayspring Program Inc or Dayspring House of Baltimore.

Dayspring’s website features over 20 pages, making it a medium-large website build. It also houses a registration program feature allowing children and volunteers to register for events. The sites large bold text and images shine and give the feeling of love and support. There are multiple large forms that allow for the staff to receive all the applicant information to their emails, plus a huge resource area for educators, parents, and children.

We are so thrilled for this site launch and for the next one to come as we wrap up design on their third site, a consulting program for executive function coaching and psychological testing. Good luck to Dr. Gorham and we are crossing our fingers that they receive TONS of well deserved grants and money for expansion and new projects.
