Waco fans may just be one of the coolest companies that we have ever worked with, pun most definitely intended. Waco Industrial Fans and Warner Air , LLC is a Westminster, MD company with a rich history in aerodynamics and engineering that started over 70 years ago. More recently, over the past 20 years or so the company has expanded tremendously, and it’s manufacturing capabilities have grown and streamlined, so much so that the company is producing fans and blades for every continent, yes even Antarctica.

We were so impressed with the level of technology coupled by the industrial machinery required to create such detailed and precise pieces of machinery, it truly is like watching art be created.

The company reached a tipping point this year that for them meant that their level of success did not match up with the design and functionality of their website. To say it was antiquated is an understatement, to be honest though, it was pretty good by the early 2000’s standards.

The needs for the new website included something that felt as professional and intelligent as the company actually is, they are quite innovative and very accomplished. In addition to a look that felt updated, they also required the new site have the capability to take orders, address customer service issues, and share their history and products in a way that made the most sense for the customer experience.

The AFTER website

The after website is a light and airy design that is hyper focused on movement that mimics the waves that would be created by air from a fan. The movements across the site are fluid and timed to give the user a feeling of ease.

In addition to the major and minor movements incorporated about the site are a collective company history that was absent from the first site, pictures of the products, information about the fan and blade manufacturing process, the ability to order online, and a chat feature.

We feel this is one of our most effortful and complex designs and one that we are most proud to have included in our portfolio.
