Featured Client: Melissa Spittel Brand Guide and Logo
Melissa Spittel is a real-estate agent in the Maryland area who reached out to Hampstead Marketing and Design looking for help with developing a brand. A lot of people confuse branding and marketing, branding is more of an idea and concept, and it’s what we use to actually market a business. I like to think of a companies brand as their drivers license. Their drivers license has their picture, basic description, and is their official identity that they carry around to show people.
In Melissa’s case, and like most other agents, she is up against A LOT of competition. Having a way to stand out is what she feels she needs to take charge and attract more clients, and we couldn’t agree more.
We worked with her on a few different concepts, all of which included:
Logo
Colors
Tagline
Font
After four rounds we came up with a final version that includes Melissa’s initials, a key hole and a silhouette of her from one of her fun real estate video thumbnails. We went with a color pallet that represented Melissa and her spirit, a font that was feminine and also interesting and unique. The tag line we chose was one from out of around ten that we came up with but was the one that Melissa felt best worked with her marketing plan and was also one that she found wasn’t being used by any other agent out there!
