Client Spotlight: Erin Lyn photography

Erin Lyn Photography is a local photographer who reached out to us to update an outdated logo for a more profesh look! you know we can’t resist a great makeover story, PLUS there are extra rounds of revisions this time so there are so many pretty ideas that we get to save for the future!

Erin is, SO DIVERSE, we always like to say a little bit about the clients and give you their history here but she is just a menagerie of experience and creativity. You can visit her website and check out her cool history here but if you’re looking for a photographer just go straight to her Insta, she captures some incredible emotions in her portraits that we are uber impressed by.

ok so let’s talk about the before and after, THEN we can see how we got there, savvy?

Like we said, a great makeover right?!? Erin wanted something that still captured her teal color and her original hand drawn sketch of the camera, but polished and professional. We discussed her love of nature and what makes her photos unique. The final design is really lovely, it feels like it grew out of her original design.

Let’s take a look at how we arrive here!

We did 4 rounds of designs over 4 months, so it is a bit to go over, in order to keep it simple this is the first round, then well look at the last full round before we narrowed it down. This first round was more focused on incorporating a tree/specific nature area where Erin shoots often. We hadn’t gotten to that hand drawn look yet and were really more exploring the idea of a camera less literally.

this fourth round was where the final design was presented as number 8. between 1 and 4 we had decided to go succulent and watercolor. Obviously there was some blending between number 8 nd the flower element from 10 and 12, but this is where it all came together. I would highly recommend checking out Erin if you are in the central Pennsylvania area and seeking an excellent experience photographer, and of course Hampstead Marketing and Design if you need graphic design and logo assistance!
