Cutting Edge Lawn Care came to us last month desperate for some help with their website. The owner Ryan told me a tale I have heard many times, that story was one of marketing agencies that were holding websites hostage. All too often marketing agencies refuse to give up rights to websites, for whatever reason or another. Most often it comes down to maintenance and revenue, web designers want to maintain control over that website so that when updates need to made they can bill by the hour, it creates a constant revenue stream.

Ryan had not one, but TWO sites living out there and went so far as to purchase a new domain because he couldn’t get his site released.
The most important thing about the Cutting Edge Lawncare Website is the Instant Quote tool. Lawnbot, a fairly new app developer has created a tool that allows you to instantly get an accurate quote using Google Maps technology. It’s actually really fun, you enter your address, the app pulls up a Google Earth view of your property, and you simply use your finger to color in the area of your lawn you need mowed or mulched.
One of the most common complaints I hear from my experience with contractors and clients is that there is a lack of communication. Often times customers call for quotes and never get a call back. This tool makes it easy and simple for the customer to get a contact-less quote and then they can be followed up with or choose to call and book!
When we designed this site we worked hard to ensure that the site flowed and was easy to use and navigate. We wanted to also make the instant quote tool easy to find, use, and one of the stars of the website! Now as we move right into the Spring mowing and clean-up season, Cutting Edge Lawncare will be able to send their potential clients to a useful site that is all their own!
