Bringing Back the Diner Vibes: Little G’s is Coming to Hampstead — and We Got to Help!
It’s always special when a small town gets to celebrate something new—especially when that “new” is a beautiful nod to the past.
After more than seven years without a local diner, Hampstead is about to get its heart (and its hashbrowns) back with the upcoming opening of Little G’s Diner at 1365 N. Main Street. Slated to open in June 2025, Little G’s will breathe new life into the space once home to the Hampstead Diner—a spot many locals still remember fondly. And we’re thrilled to share that Hampstead Marketing and Design had the joy of designing the official logo for this exciting new chapter!
A Family Dream, Rooted in Community
Behind this venture is the Coil family—Christopher and Katie Coil, familiar faces in the local food scene as the owners of Bebo’s Mac Shack and KC Elite Hospitality. Their latest endeavor is more than just a business; it’s a legacy in the making, named after their red-headed, blue-eyed son, Grayson (aka “Little G”), who inspired not only the name but the logo we had the honor of bringing to life.
Chris, a Carroll County native and Francis Scott Key alum, has spent over 25 years in the food world, from flipping burgers as a teen to leading food service operations and launching beloved food trucks. Katie, originally from North Carolina, brings a powerful blend of heart and hustle to the family business with her background in business and HR. Together, they’ve weathered the challenges of launching during a pandemic, reviving a dormant building, and doing it all with their community in mind.
What to Expect (and When!)
While the grand opening won’t arrive until June, the excitement starts early! Beginning April 2025, Bebo’s Mac Shack will be parked at the back of the diner lot, serving up craveable comfort food and Grayson’s famous fresh-squeezed lemonade during lunch hours and local events.
Once fully open, Little G’s Diner will serve breakfast all day and hearty lunch favorites from 6AM to 3PM, Tuesday through Sunday—all with their signature vibe: “Exceptional food and even better vibes—where family, friends, and flavor come together.”
Why This Project Matters to Us
At Hampstead Marketing and Design, we love working with local businesses that care deeply about the people they serve—and Little G’s is the perfect example of that. Designing their logo wasn’t just a creative project; it was a collaboration filled with joy, vision, and the spirit of Hampstead. We can’t wait to see our design proudly displayed on their signage, menus, and merch as they welcome guests this summer.
Follow Little G’s Diner and Bebo’s Mac Shack on social media for sneak peeks, food truck updates, and behind-the-scenes progress as they prepare to open their doors. This is more than a diner—it’s a new hometown hangout, built by family and powered by community.
