Logo Design Spotlight: Sew in Love
Sew in Love is a Northern Baltimore County sewing business that focuses on customized and personalized pieces for babies and children. This business is just getting started, and as many successful businesses just starting out know: “branding and a logo are one of the first steps.”
It as exciting to work with Emily of Sew in Love on her logo as I hadn’t ever done a sewing logo in the past, despite being a lover of sewing and knitting myself (and most recently teaching myself to crochet).
We started with creative freedom and put together many options that were stretched pretty far to give Emily a really nice broad idea of all the directions we could go.
After two more rounds of tweaks we decided on the below logo as the finished approved version. It says bold, but also sweet and feminine, the “L” is closed by a delicate sewing needle and the “O” is shifted to a heart.
This logo really turned out to be cute yet complex, we always are concerned with getting too literal with imagery in logos, but we found this one to be just right. Should you need a custom sewn items for your infant or child consider reaching out to a new business run by a wonderful small and local person like Emily! She can be reached at email emilysewinlove@gmail.com and by phone at 443 605 4051.
As always, if YOU need a professional logo designed and you’re located ANYWHERE, but locally to Carroll and Baltimore Counties, you can count on HM&D for help: info@hampsteadmarketinganddesign.com or 410 236 4105.
